Dr. Steven Gross was appointed as a clinician for two European summer music festivals, with responsibilities for solo, chamber music, and orchestral performance, as well as teaching. The events are Hornclass, part of the Prague International Music Festival, and the Crescendo Musical Institute in Hungary. In both festivals, as well as during the upcoming International Horn Society Symposium, Dr. Gross will perform premieres of his commissioned work, Trio for Horn, Violin and Piano, by William Bolcom, with the ensemble American Double. Following these concerts, the composition will be recorded in Prague. A West Coast premiere is anticipated in Santa Barbara.
