Steven Gross and American Double (Phil Ficsor, violin, and Constantine Finehouse, piano) went to the University of Michigan (Dr. G’s alma mater) to perform the Bolcom Trio for Horn, Violin, and Piano. William Bolcom attended to give his comments. The performers also gave a masterclass to three student chamber music groups that each prepared a movement of the Brahms Trio for coaching. This masterclass was given as part of the Sally Fleming Masterclass Series.
