This is a small ‘camp’ in the redwoods near Mill Valley, CA, and Wendell Rider, Bill Klingelhoffer and Dr. G as the teachers.
Each day we have guided warm ups, skills practice, master classes and play in a large horn choir as well as time for freelance small groups with or without coaching and hiking, all in a superb outdoor acoustic of a canyon in the middle of a redwood forest.
Nothing beats taking the horn back to its roots in the forest. The small group size and the ability to hang with the teachers is a unique experience nowadays.
The camp is built around the players who come. We have things that we want to do, but we also do and study what you want. Oh, did I mention we have a great chef? No cafeteria food here.
